We Have Got To SLOW DOWN!!!

Stressed…
Overwhelmed…
Confused…
Impatient…
Restless…
Depressed…
Rushed…

Look, there are many things that are going on in this world all at once. It is very easy to feel lost among all the things we are dealing with on a daily basis. You may think you have it all together but if you cannot maintain a sustainable bubble of “inner peace”…you might be feeling slightly insane.

Every year modern technology becomes more advanced and dominate. It seems as technology evolves into something greater, time speeds up. Days, weeks and months go by quicker than it did during the 90s and earlier decades. Have anyone else noticed that?

Or what about…

Often times we can get overwhelmed with frequent changes that take place in the world. Most people have a hard time adapting to the “expectations of society” because they do not like changes. If this is you, you are sure to struggle with upcoming events that can cause a dramatic twist in all of our lives.

I cannot STRESS enough…

Stress is the main cause of most mental illnesses these doctors are “diagnosing” people with. It blows my mind and saddens my heart how we can experience the worse just from stress alone. Please learn to discover your outlet when you are stressed out. Take some down time to get your mind and emotions together when you feel out-of-place. It is NECESSARY that you do this.

We don’t make time for much anymore…

Now days people work almost 24/7 and forgot how to live. We focus on the materialistic things and financial situations, hoping for a better outcome. We neglect ourselves trying to impress something or someone who could probably give a crap about the value of our time.

We don’t spend enough time questioning the things that are affecting our lives. Why? Because we are constantly on the go and don’t take a few to stop and regroup. We are slaved to our technical devices almost all day, everyday we miss out on things.

When was the last time you took a vacation? Do you have kids? When was the last time you spent quality time with them without being in a rush for something else? How often do you take 15 or 30 minutes to yourself to just relax before your day starts or end? When was the last time you took a selfless act to help someone else? (if you don’t do so already) How often do you reflect on your life and work towards being a better person?

Time is valuable and non-refundable…

We have to learn to slow down. Your bills, taxes, education, money, personal problems, and more are not going ANYWHERE. So why not take a break…Then you can come back and get some things done.

Slow down, get some rest. I’m all for the grind but rest and proper eating habits are very essential for your health. If you’re not well how can you expect your life to function well?
